What’s Your ALE?

We all experience them - and some are more devastating than others.

A.L.E.s are “Adverse Life Events”, and they can range from bereavement, relationship break-ups or physical injury and health issues, to a job loss, an involuntary relocation or financial difficulties and bankruptcy.

How we deal with them at the time will depend on many factors, including our age, gender, health and life circumstances.  No two people will experience the emotional turmoil that an A.L.E. can cause in quite the same way.

That’s why professional support can be crucial during these difficult times.  Properly qualified counselors have studied the psychological dynamics of such situations and can help you to recognize and manage the anxieties, depression and grief that so often accompanies an A.L.E.

They will also be familiar with the countless studies that have shown that unresolved A.L.E.s can have unwelcome longer-term effects on a person’s psychological well-being, and will be able to equip you with the simple techniques that will enable you to cope as you transition into your new “post-A.L.E.” reality.

A reality that can be joyous and fulfilling in new and often unexpected ways.
